LOVE-HATE WITH MY DREAMS

LOVE-HATE WITH MY DREAMS

SHUTTER STOCK IMAGE

Some days, I say to my dreams

You came to the wrong body

I’m too weak to bear you

Some nights, I scream at my heart

You create grandiose visions

I shiver in thoughts

Some days, I crawl through life asking

From whence do dreams come?

Cos I’d like to return mine

Some nights, winter comes

These dreams turn thermostats

Heating me up

Some days, I’m breaking

These dreams become adhesives

Holding me together

Days — nights blur, I shout

From whence do dreams come?

that I may pay obeisance
