This is an extract from the Get Married in a year ladies’ prayer. The full replay in context can be found here
Prayer 1️⃣: God, deliver me from self-sabotage. Well, you probably can’t even pray that prayer if you’re in disobedience, and so the best place to always start is repentance.
Well, I repent. I repent for every disobedience. I repent for everything that you have ever said that I did not listen to. I repent for the half-obediences. Because Israel was out of Egypt. Israel was moving more. Yet, Israel was in disobedience. I repent of every disobedience.
Prayer 2️⃣: Lord, have mercy and adjust my path. Every place I’m not fully aligned, I receive your mercy. God, have mercy on me.
You say you will have mercy on whom you will have mercy and have compassion on whom you will have compassion. I could have sworn before today that I was doing the right thing and I don’t know why I’m suffering. But Lord, have mercy.
God, if there’s a place I’m in disobedience and I’m not aware, have mercy and bring me awareness so I can act accordingly. Help me to know what to obey. Help me to know how to obey. Lord, help me to act accordingly.
Prayer 3️⃣: God, save me from self-sabotage. Every place where I am consciously doing something that is destroying my chances of entering into my promise. Lord, help me.
Prayer 4️⃣: God, renew my mind. Renew my mind.
Help me to stop going back to past memory. In chapter 25, I cannot be saying Miriam died in chapter 20. Lord, renew my mind. Save my memory. If you have a verbal memory, you should be praying this with all your life. God, save my memory.
The things my parents said. The things my ex said. The things they said about my body. The things they said about my mind. The things an abuser did to me. Whatever traumatic experience I have ever gone through.
God, the things I experienced when I was lustful. The things I experienced when I used to sin against my own body. God, have mercy. Deliver my mind. Save my memory. Sanctify my thoughts.
Prayer 5️⃣: Lord, sanctify my thoughts. Sanctify my thoughts about the promise. Sanctify my thoughts about myself. Sanctify my thoughts about you, God.
God, everywhere I’m judging you wrongly, sanctify my thoughts. Sanctify my thoughts about what I even think my enemy is. Sanctify my thoughts. Grace me, God. Deliver me. Deliver me.
Prayer 6️⃣: Lord, deliver me. Deliver me from ‘whatever you know you’re experiencing’.
God, deliver me from apathy. Deliver me from depression. Deliver me from sadness. Deliver me from grief. Deliver me from mourning. Deliver me from locking myself in. Deliver me from oppressive thoughts. Deliver me from bad relationships. Deliver me from negative people. Jesus, deliver me.
Prayer 7️⃣: God, give me strength to move forward.
Lord, help me to move forward. Help me to break my tent and move forward. Help me to come through. Help me to move forward. God, give me capacity to move. Give me strength to move. Give me courage to move.
Prayer 8️⃣: Give me the power to fight.
Give me everything that I need to fight as I go. Lord, I will not stop when battle comes. The Bible says if your strength fail in the day of adversity, your strength is small. Lord, give me strength. Train my hands to war. Train my fingers to battle.
Help me to fight for the things I need to fight for. Help me to fight for my anointing. Help me to fight for my calling. Help me to fight for my promise. Help me to fight for my children. Help me to fight for my husband. Help me to fight God for what you called me to fight for.
Help me to sit up straight. Help me to pay the price. Help me to make the sacrifices that are necessary. Help me to be disciplined. Help me to war.
Prayer 9️⃣: God, bring me into my promise. Lord, bring me into the promise you made me. Help me to align with you that I enter the promise. In the name of Jesus, I enter into the promise.
Make it a declaration: I enter into the promise of God for me.
I enter the promises of God in the time God has designed for me to enter. Not just entering the promise, but entering the promise on time. Israel ended up in the promise, but not at the time they were supposed to. God, I enter into the promise. I enter the promise and I enter it on time.
Prayer 1️⃣0️⃣: God, when I enter into the promise, I will not be weak.
When Israel comes into Jericho, Israel still has capacity to fight. Caleb has capacity to fight. God, I enter the promise and I still have strength. Pastor Travis Greene says that there’s something called faith fatigue: you come into the promise and be too tired to enjoy it.
No, you will come in and you will have strength. You will come in and you will have vigour. You will come in and you will have peace. You will come in and you will have restoration and joy. When you come into the marriage, you will not be apathetic.
You will not be like, yeah, finally, yeah. No, that will not be your response. You will be able to rejoice and enjoy the husband of your youth.
Closing Prayer
God, I thank you for today. I thank you for the victory that you have wrought. Lord, I thank you that you will take this word and you will break it a thousand ways until it meets every need in the heart of the listener.
Lord, I thank you that you would answer these prayers because you have promised to. I thank you that there will be testimonies. That these women of God will come into their marriages. That they will receive of your hand everything you have promised them.
Lord, I thank you for your spirit that is here. I thank you that your word is open to us even after now and the spirit of prayer and supplication is upon us to war, to refuse everything you have not placed on us. Lord, we will not make sacrifices you did not demand.
I thank you God for victory. In Jesus’ mighty name we are prayed. Amen.
I love having you here today. I hope you would invite a man to join the men’s prayer next week Saturday.
God bless you. God bless you.
I love you, God loves you.
Bye.
